What you need

To use En Carta Diagnostics and perform RT-qPCR-level accuracy diagnostics, all you need is:

  • En Carta diagnostics kits

  • Pipettes

  • A heating plate reader

Our diagnostics can be performed on saliva or NP swabs, extracted by boiling method.

You can also use the extraction method of your choice.

SARS-CoV-2 Diagnostic

SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern Diagnostic

The VoC kit enables rapid screening of patient samples. As a second line test, our kit provides a sequencing-like solution, in all set-ups not equipped with NGS technology:

Zika virus Diagnostic (American strain)

Field tested in Latin America on 268 patient samples.

 

Tested against 7 closely related viruses (including the Zika virus African strain) we demonstrate: 

  • an accuracy of 98.51% (95 % CI, 96.22 – 99.59 %) compared to the CDC RT-qPCR protocol

  • a specificity of 100%.

Chikungunya virus Diagnostic

Filed tested on 65 patient samples

Tested against 8 closely related viruses we demonstrate: 

  • an accuracy of 98.46% (95 % CI, 91.72 – 99.96 %) compared to the gold-standard RT-qPCR.
