Help Us Improve Early Lyme Disease Detection!
Boston University is looking for volunteers to participate in an exciting clinical study at BU Clinical Testing Lab!
Help us validate a microneedle-based sampling device that could revolutionize how we detect Lyme disease early and accurately.

Who can participate?
-
Anyone who has recently been bitten by a tick, knows exactly where the bite occurred (the tick left a bite mark), and contacts us within 3 days of removal of the tick
OR
-
Anyone with a clinically diagnosed erythema migrans (the rash commonly seen in Lyme disease).
What you’ll do:
-
Simply scan the QR code or follow this link and answer a 2-minute pre-screening questionnaire.
-
Provide a biological fluid sample from the tick bite or rash site (painless sampling).
-
Participants may experience mild discomfort, redness, or irritation at the site of the microneedle patch application.
-
20 minutes of your time – receive a $50 gift card as thanks for your participation!
